Something to Hold Close...
I love Alaska dearly and have been chomping at the bit to get up there for over a month now, but more then that I love my home and know I will miss it and all my family members that are staying behind starting the very moment we drive out the driveway.
This morning I was presented with a memory of the yard to hold close to my heart until I'm back home.

I can see why love your home, and would want to hold onto it. What a beautiful sky. You do have some absolutely awesome photos, Karen.
Thanks for the spectacular photos! Your home is a wonderful place because of all you put into it and all you make it to be. I am delighted that I will be able to spend a short time there caring for it in your absence, what an honor it will be. Of course the best part will be when you come home!
Have tons of fun in Alaska and I wish you safe travels.

Lovely place, Karen...be safe on your trip and be warm on the trail. Here's to a triumphant Pretty Sled Dog finish!
Oh those are worth framing, as are a lot of your pics!
Have a safe trip full of more beautiful things to see and enjoy!

Ah-h-h-h-h Karen, a true "heart memory" They are gorgeous and the sky is unbelievable. Whenever I try to catch the sky colors, I don't get much--I have to tilt my camera.
Anyway, that memory is something. It would make a wonderful box of cards. I've just about used up my box of the snow covered ridge top during the Whitefish race.
