CRUNCHIE - "Crunchie''

Crunchie is another one of those dogs that it is hard to write a
bio about. There are just not words to describe how I feel about
him. Being the first born son of my all time favorite dog (Grover)
certainly had him a spot in my heart the moment he was born, but
Crunchie wasn't content to just 'inherit' my affection - he insisted
on earning it - and earn it he has.
Crunchie has been a fixture in my team since the 03/04 season. He
has never been dropped from any team he has been on. He is a
constant workhorse. They just don't come any more dependable and
capable. To top that off Crunch decided that being in the show
ring wasn't such a back deal either - finishing his Championship
with a Group 2nd placing from the classes just weeks after finishing
his 3rd Iditarod. In my mind, the living embodiment of the breed.
- 4 Time Iditarod Finisher including 2012 at 10.5 years of age!
- over 30,000 miles in harness
- never injured or dropped in any race
- producer of Iditarod finishers and leaders
- Canadian Champion and Group 2 placer
